Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks has announced the latest addition to its warehouse range: the PBPL series.
Simple and efficient, this cost-effective range of 1.2 to 1.5 tonne electric hand pallet trucks is also one of the most versatile choices for short and mid-distance runs.
Hand pallet trucks are part of the biggest growth sector of the industry, but they can often be limited to small loads.
Unlike conventional hand pallet trucks, PBPL features a 48-volt Lithium-Ion power source for electric driving and lifting functions as well as manual lowering.
The powerful AC motor keeps productivity high, as shifting weights of half a tonne or more with a manual pallet truck can quickly lead to fatigue or muscle injury.
Manual handling is responsible for more than a third of workplace injuries that require 3 or more days off. If your operators are regularly using hand pallet trucks, then switching to a powered version can greatly reduce the chance of worker injury.
The productivity you need, when you need it
The maintenance-free, high-capacity 48V Lithium-Ion battery gives operators 6 hours of highly-productive use. While the truck is in use, an extra battery can be charged in just 3.5 hours using the supplied external charging dock.
Every model in the range uses the same high-quality battery, allowing for interchangeability across different trucks, regardless of whether you have a 1.2 or 1.5-tonne model.
The regenerative brake system on PBPL not only improves the braking performance (another key advantage over manual trucks) but also uses kinetic energy to charge the battery.
Strong and reliable
Like all products bearing the Mitsubishi name, the PBPL is built with reliability in mind.
Built to last, the tough, durable platform is robust yet lightweight. to ensure maximum strength.
With its compact design and small turning radius, PBPL is an ideal choice for use in confined spaces like retail stores, trailers, containers and small warehouses.
